It took the twenty walkers just over 5 hours to complete the 8.5 miles of the route that seems to get more and more challenging every year. Of the twenty walkers, five of them were children all who did really well and acted very responsibly during the walk that sometimes involved climbing over rocks, especially taking the route up towards Kinders Plateau. Also, traversing across the plateau proved really tough with the Peat Bogs at the top going through to Noe Stool and The Woolpacks rock formations. There were some spectacular views seen from there before heading round to descend Jacob's Ladder and finally heading back to Edale
After the walk was finished, we all managed to move our tired legs to the final destination, The Ramblers Inn at Edale for a well deserved drink sharing tales of the trek. Well done to everyone also for making it a safe walk by looking out for and helping each other throughout the trek.
